Kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Mbetsa Chibule Hosts Minnesota State Representative Hulda Momanyi-Hiltsley to Strengthen Global Partnerships

Kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Mbetsa Chibule on Friday hosted Hon. Hulda Momanyi-Hiltsley, the first Kenyan-American elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives (District 38A), in a high-level meeting aimed at deepening bilateral collaboration between Kilifi County and the State of Minnesota.

The talks centered on forging strategic partnerships in health, education, technology, and agriculture, with a focus on shared innovation, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development.

“Our engagement underscores Kilifi County’s commitment to fostering global partnerships that deliver tangible impact and long-term growth for our people,” said Deputy Governor Chibule.

Hon. Momanyi-Hiltsley commended Kilifi’s proactive approach to international collaboration, noting that partnerships between counties and global institutions are key to unlocking local potential and driving inclusive development.

Also present were Chief Officer for ICT Agneta Karembo, Director of Partnerships Charles Kamau, and representatives from the Women in Waiting Network organization.

The meeting reaffirmed Kilifi County’s dedication to leveraging global networks to enhance innovation, capacity building, and socio-economic transformation across key sectors.
