Nairobi, Kenya — The Kenya School of Government (KSG), under the leadership of Director General Prof. Nura Mohammed, hosted a high-level strategic meeting with officials from the World Bank and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to prepare for the upcoming Kenya–DRC South–South Learning Mission.
The mission will bring together senior officials from DRC’s Department of Transport and Roads for a knowledge exchange program focused on Kenya’s successful World Bank–supported road infrastructure projects — credited with transforming connectivity, trade, and security in Northern Kenya.
KSG will facilitate a capacity-building workshop for the DRC delegation, offering practical insights on governance, project implementation, and institutional resilience.
Prof. Mohammed emphasized that the engagement reflects KSG’s growing role as a regional center for public sector excellence, highlighting its collaboration with both the World Bank and École Nationale d’Administration (ENA DRC).
“Our partnership is a testament to Africa’s ability to learn from within. By sharing knowledge and building local capacity, we strengthen our collective path toward sustainable growth,” said Prof. Mohammed.
The South–South Learning Mission aligns with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and aims to deepen cooperation between Kenya and DRC in infrastructure management, governance, and regional integration.
