Tanqueray Launches ‘Showtime’ in Kenya, Unveiling a New Era of Culture, Style & Premium Experiences

Tanqueray, the world’s No. 1 premium gin, has announced the Kenyan launch of its cultural platform, Showtime. The official launch will take place on 7th December 2025 and will feature an exclusive culinary experience at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and Cottages.

Showtime is set to redefine how consumers engage with lifestyle and cultural showcases. The platform brings together key elements of contemporary culture—including gastronomy, fashion, cocktail artistry, and sustainability—through curated experiences designed to spotlight and support Kenya’s vibrant creative community.

“With Showtime, Tanqueray will create a space where consumers become immersed in premium experiences. Our goal is to collaborate with Kenyan creatives to offer elevated moments that inspire and enhance everyday life,” said Nancy Nansikombi, Tanqueray Brand Manager for East Africa (EABL).

The inaugural Showtime experience will include a culinary series curated by Karen Blixen’s Head Chef, Cosmas Kituku, alongside fashion showcases from Itikadi Fashion House and Hawi Ready to Wear.

This launch marks the beginning of a series of Showtime events that Tanqueray plans to roll out in the coming months. Each edition will continue to explore the intersection of fashion, gastronomy, mixology, and sustainable luxury—offering Kenyan consumers fresh and exciting ways to connect with the brand.

As Tanqueray expands the platform locally, Showtime is poised to become a standout cultural moment in Kenya’s lifestyle and creative scene.
