Big 5 Construct Kenya is set to return for its 8th edition at the Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, from 5–7 November 2025, bringing together key stakeholders from across the construction value chain. The exhibition arrives at a pivotal time, as Kenya’s construction industry—currently valued at $20 billion—continues to expand at a projected rate of 7.5% annually, supported by robust investments in housing, infrastructure, and policy reforms.
According to the World Bank, Kenya’s GDP is projected to grow by 4.5% in 2025, underscoring the sector’s resilience amid global economic uncertainty. The country’s Vision 2030 Construction Industry Development Policy and its national goal to deliver one million housing units by 2027 (National Housing Corporation) are key drivers of this momentum.
This rapid growth is fueling demand for building materials, skilled labour, project financing, and advanced construction technologies. Landmark projects such as the Nairobi–Mombasa Usahihi Expressway and the OrPower 22 Geothermal Plant are also expected to attract significant investment, further highlighting the strategic importance of Big 5 Construct Kenya as a hub for networking and innovation.
Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events, noted:
“Kenya’s construction sector is gaining real momentum, driven by ambitious infrastructure and housing initiatives under Vision 2030. Big 5 Construct Kenya is at the heart of this growth, connecting decision-makers, innovators, and suppliers. The exhibition provides a platform to discover practical solutions, explore emerging trends, and drive projects that shape the nation’s construction landscape.”
