Rose Museo Champions Women’s Empowerment in Makueni

Makueni County Woman Representative Hon. Rose Mumo Museo has reaffirmed her commitment to advancing women’s empowerment and promoting sustainable economic growth across the county.

During a visit to several women’s groups in Muvau/Kikumini Ward, Hon. Museo lauded the creativity, resilience, and determination of local women who are transforming ideas into viable enterprises.

“Yesterday, I spent time with hardworking women across Makueni County — women who are turning ideas into income and dreams into real opportunities,” she said. “Our engagement was not just a routine visit; it was a deliberate investment in the dreams, talents, and future of the women who hold our society together.”

Discussions during the visit focused on financial empowerment, modern skills development, leadership, and sustainable income generation. Hon. Museo noted that women across Makueni have shown exceptional determination to expand their ventures, build financial independence, and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.

“The energy was powerful, the ambition was clear. Our women are ready to rise, and I am committed to walking with them every step of the way,” she added.

Hon. Museo urged women to continue organizing themselves into groups, saving, investing, and embracing continuous learning, emphasizing that their unity and resilience remain the heartbeat of Makueni’s development.

Widely respected as a leader with a heart of gold, Hon. Museo has consistently championed initiatives that uplift women and foster inclusive growth across the county.
