Eldohub has officially launched TechRun 2025, a flagship innovation and entrepreneurship forum aimed at cementing Kenya’s position as a continental hub for artificial intelligence, sports technology, and digital transformation.
The event, set to run later this year, builds on the success of the inaugural edition and promises to be bigger and more impactful. It will bring together innovators, investors, policymakers, and thought leaders from across Africa to foster collaboration and unlock opportunities in emerging technologies.
Speaking at the unveiling, Eldohub Executive Director Magdaline Chepkemoi highlighted the growing importance of nurturing Africa’s digital economy and creating spaces where innovation meets investment.
“Just like champions on the track, innovators and entrepreneurs need resilience, focus, and long-term vision to thrive,” said Chepkemoi. “TechRun is more than an event; it is a platform for opportunities, investment, and impact.”
TechRun 2025 will feature exhibitions, panel discussions, and networking sessions, with a special focus on showcasing local talent and scaling up solutions with regional and global relevance. Organizers expect the forum to accelerate knowledge exchange and investment, particularly in digital skills, smart agriculture, and green technologies, sectors seen as key drivers of inclusive growth.
By anchoring the event in Eldoret—a city synonymous with world-class athletics—Eldohub seeks to draw parallels between endurance in sports and resilience in entrepreneurship, reinforcing Kenya’s narrative as a nation of champions on both tracks.
With TechRun 2025, Eldohub is not only spotlighting innovation but also positioning Kenya as a launchpad for Africa’s digital future.
