The Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) has once again cemented its reputation as a key player in safeguarding agriculture after receiving a prestigious trophy during the official opening of the Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) 2025 by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto.
The award was proudly received on behalf of the institution by the KEPHIS Board Chair, Hon. Joseph M’Eruaki, who was accompanied by members of the Board. The recognition not only celebrates KEPHIS’ contribution to strengthening agricultural standards and plant health in Kenya but also highlights the transformative leadership of Hon. M’Eruaki at the helm of the agency.
Since assuming office, Hon. M’Eruaki has provided strategic direction that has seen KEPHIS become more visible, efficient, and innovative in regulating and supporting Kenya’s agriculture. Speaking after receiving the award, Hon. M’Eruaki lauded the collective effort of the KEPHIS team, emphasizing that the recognition belongs to all staff and partners who work tirelessly to uphold agricultural health.
